- OUTNUMBERED Following Jonathans exit from the competition, Raj and Leo are feeling outnumbered by the former Red Team members. After finishing in 5th at the past weigh-in, just one spot above the dreaded yellow line, Raj is extremely worried. He knows that former Red Team members despise him, and will not hesitate to get rid of him, should he ever fall below the yellow line. The former Reds head upstairs to discuss the nights events in private. We just missed a golden opportunity to take out Raj... such a waste! exclaims Genghis. Competing as individuals seems to be a blessing in disguise for the former Red Team. Even Lori and Genghis have put their differences aside and are now getting along. I think the feeling amongst all of the former Red Team members is as much as we can, to have each others back. Eventually there are going to be 2 red team members below the yellow line together and we just have to deal with that when it happens explains Lori. THE FINAL 6 At the first training session of the week, Kristy and Dave discover that Jon was sent home. The contestants inform the trainers that format of the game has changed. Last season during the singles phase of the competition, the contestants weight loss from week to week was measured as a cumulative percentage of their starting body weight. For Season 2, their weekly weight-loss will be based as a percentage of their previous week's weight. Now in singles, the competition is fiercer than ever. Everyone knows that one bad week can send you home. So the trainers are picking up the intensity in training. This competition will be won by who can suffer the longest. This is a suffer contest Kristy says as she examines their exercise technique. Nai and Fish are the stand out performers in training. But at 69kg Fish does not have much more weight to lose. Kristy is worried about Fish and says getting these last few kilos off her is like pulling teeth. Raj and Leo are sticking closely to each other in training. Outnumbered by the 4 remaining Red Team members, Raj is feeling very vulnerable. Theres no point even calling them former Red Team members because theyre still Red. They wear their armband, they wear Red colour stuff, its so obvious. You feel pressure because you know the moment you fall below the yellow line, you can just pack your bag and go home. While everyone is working hard to try and cut the fat, Dave notices that Raj is not acting like himself. Raj was just flat. He was flat, slow and just dragging his feet. And I could tell that something was weighing heavy on his mind. After training Dave decides to check up on Raj and Leo at the mansion. Rajs lack of energy in training has got Dave worried. Fighting back tears, Raj explains that he is worried about his place in the competition because you just dont know whats going to happen. However Dave is quick to point out that he still has a shot at the title. His hard work got him to where he is now, so he needs to stop worrying and focus his energy on training. Let the weight on the scales do the talking. BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE As the contestants arrive at the challenge location, Marion informs them that this weeks challenge has been specially designed by Original Boot Camp for the Biggest Loser Asia. The military style obstacle requires the contestants to run 3 laps around the pond, picking up a 3 different objects along the way. Each lap measures 1.2 kilometres in distance with an additional staircase obstacle. The 1st lap of the race requires each person to strap on a field bag, weighing 20 kilos for the men and 15 kilos for the ladies. At the start of the 2nd lap, everyone will have to pick up a 5 kilo mock rifle. And to top things off, for the 3rd and final lap, the contestants will have to carry 2 jerry cans filled with water. The first person to complete the race wins immunity and a 1-year supply for Nestle Fitnesse Cereal. As Marion introduces the contestants to their Original Boot camp instructors for the day looks of terror flash across the faces of the contestants. Genghis says, When I saw the chief for the first time, I was scared shitless. It just made Kristy look like a pussy cat. The contestants are informed that they will have to complete a military style warm up before they can actually start the race. The faster the complete the repetitions, the faster they can start the run. Nai is the first to finish the warm up and races down the trail to the military equipment. Fish is not far behind him. She manages to strap the field bag onto her back faster than Nai, stealing the lead from him. Leo and Raj hot on their tail. Even though Lori was the last person to finish the warm up, she quickly overtakes Genghis on the run. Fish manages to keep a steady pace and stay in the lead until the 2nd lap of the race. She picks up the mock rifle and trudges on, but Nai is still following closely behind her. I could hear Nais footsteps behind me. He managed to catch up with me and overtake me says Fish. The sun is shining down hard on the contestants as they fight to keep moving while carrying the heavy equipment. I just really want immunity, so Im going to fight today. Its a mere fact of me beating Fish and Nai and how hard they are going to push explains Leo who is in 3rd place. But as the contestants round the lake, the gap widens between each of them. I have to push hard to win, to take the immunity away from the former Blues says Nai. And with a look of sheer determination on his face, he powers through and is the first person to cross the finish line. This is the 2nd immunity challenge in a row that Nai has won. Fish finishes in 2nd place, followed by Leo, Raj, Lori and Genghis. SKINNY JEANS, HERE WE COME Kristy goes to visit Lori and Fish at the mansion, and the girls show her how none of their clothes fit anymore. Everything they brought with them is now too big and baggy. Loris shirt which she was unable to button up when she first arrived is now loose on her, while Fish is now swimming in an old pair of jeans. Kristy uses the biggestloserclub.asia website so chart Fishs week to week weight-loss. The Singaporean has lost 27kg since she joined the competition, and now weighs a mere 69kg. This is the body that Kristy has sculpted for the past 9 weeks, and I have a waistline now, marvels Fish as she realizes what shes accomplished in such a short period of time. A SURPRISE VISITOR During last chance training, Kristy and Dave surprise the contestants with a special guest. Hafiz from Season 1 is back! The former Blue Team contestant is now a personal trainer at Fitness First in Singapore. I decided to bring Hafiz back to help train the contestants, because he is a shining example of not only losing the weight, but continuing to keep it off, and helping others. Its something that the contestants from the 2nd season of the Biggest Loser Asia can learn from, explains Dave. Everyone is amazed at how Hafiz looks. He tells the contestants that he lost 34kg on the show, and another 37kg at Fitness First after returning home. In total he lost 71kg before the finale. Being the largest male left in the game, Genghis is star struck and comments, Seeing Hafiz before as 167kg and now hes in double digits and he became a personal trainer. It just shows the nothing is impossible. The contestants are working out harder than ever in order to stay above the yellow line at tomorrows weigh-in. Nai is the only one safe with immunity. Everyone else is at risk of going home. Being the oldest member left in the competition, Lori is looking to use this to her advantage, We are now in Week 10 and my strategy is to work hard and stay strong, but not so strong that people start seeing me as a threat, so I get to stay here a week longer. Fish is the only other female left in the game, but she also knows that she is one of the stronger competitors Im very scared that I may not do enough to stay above the yellow line at the next weigh-in. If there is a situation where there are 2 Red under the yellow line, I seriously think that I might be the one going home. The contestants return to the mansion after last chance training to find a note waiting for them. It tells them to head across the resort to the Tuscany Restaurant. TEMPTATION CHALLENGE Upon arriving at Tuscany Restaurant, Marion informs the contestants that a temptation challenge is about to take place. Everyone will have the opportunity to earn a special advantage at tomorrows weigh-in, but only if they feel that the benefits outweigh the cost. The person, who eats the most pizza in ten minutes, will get to pick a card from the wooden container. The numbers on the cards range from 0-3kg, so winning this temptation could ultimately leave them with nothing. Everyone is shocked. Leo says Why do you have to do this to us now? This is truly a temptation challenge considering the weigh-in is tomorrow. The challenge starts and Nai begins eating the pizza almost instantly. With immunity under his belt, he knows that he is safe from tomorrows elimination. Everyone else is just staring at the pizza. Despite being worried about his place in the competition, Raj uses his napkin to cover the pizza. He is not going to take part in the temptation, Theres so much of oil and fat and carbs in there, theres not enough time to burn off those calories that you eat. So what happens if you dont win? No one else has a made a move for the pizza. With less than 2 minutes remaining, Leo looks over and sees Lori signalling to Genghis to eat. He quickly starts stuffing 2 slices of pizza into his mouth. The pizza was just sheer heaven. I figured if I swallow 2 as fast as I possibly can, then Genghis would have to eat 2 bigger slices than I did, explains Leo. Its now time to see if the temptation was worth it. Leo sticks his hand into the wooden container and comes out with the 3kg card. It looks like the pizza was worth every bite. Leo will get a 3kg weight advantage at tomorrows weigh-in. While Leo celebrates his victory, Genghis quietly mutters Im really pissed. The Filipino is regretting his decision to not take part in the temptation Seeing Leo get the 3kg just added insult to injury for me. I should have eaten. Its pretty hard for Leo to go below the yellow line now. So I just hope it will be 1 Red and Raj. Thats the only thing Im hoping for. TIME TO WEIGH-IN At the weigh-in, Nai is the first person to step onto the scale. This is the 2nd week in a row that he has won immunity from the challenge. The room becomes silent as +3kg pops up on the screen. Nai has just put on 3kg (weight loss percentage +3.00%). Everyone looks shocked, except for Nai. After having the immunity, I just took my foot off the accelerator. I was preparing myself for the next coming week, just in case if I dont have the immunity, so I have a big weight-loss to cover my own ass in case of anything that might happen explains Nai. No matter what happens tonight, he is safe from elimination. Lori is next to weigh-in and is disappointed to see that she has only lost 2kg, for weight loss percentage of -2.15%. Genghis takes his turn on the stage and drops 3kg, for a weight-loss percentage of -2.42%. He now occupies top spot on the leader board. It is now turn for Leo to weigh-in. He only loses 2kg this week for a weight loss percentage of -1.89%. However because he won the temptation challenge the night before, and chose 3kg out of the container, it will be added on to his result. Leos weight-loss increases to 5kg, which changes percentage weight loss to -4.72% and moves him up the top of the leader board. Leo knows that giving into temptation the night before has just save him, If it wasnt for the temptation challenge, I would have fallen under the yellow line. You know maybe I just have a guardian angel watching me or something. Raj looks nervous as he waits patiently on the scale for his weight-loss to appear. He breathes a huge sigh of relief as he sees 3kg pop up on the screen, his weight-loss percentage stands at -2.73% which puts him 2nd in the weekly ranking. Fish is the last person to weigh-in. A look of disbelief appears on her face as she realizes that she has only lost 1kg this week. Its my worst fear come true. And to see that 1kg there, its like a slap in the face after all the hard work Ive put in, comments a devastated Fish. Her weight-loss percentage for the week is -1.45%, the lowest result of the day. Fish is now below the yellow line with Nai. However because Nai has immunity, he moves up above the yellow line, pushing Lori beneath it. Therefore Lori and Fish are both nominated for elimination tonight. PLEAD YOUR CASE Back at the mansion, Lori and Fish both plead their case to stay in the competition for another week. Lori is the first to speak and states that she would not be under the yellow line if Leo had not won the temptation challenge and received a 3kg weight advantage. The 43-year old mother also adds, In terms of physical challenges, I am less of a threat going forward. Lori knows that the boys do not see her as a threat, especially Raj who is always looking to eliminate his strongest rivals. Its now time for a teary eyed Fish to speak, Ive never gotten a 1kg loss before, this is my first. You guys have seen my hard work in the gym. I still have that passion and I still have that drive in me. I still want to be here. Please, please, please help me stay on a little while longer. Genghis is quick to stand up for his former Red Team captain, and directs his plea towards to the former Blue Team boys. He tells them that Fish does not have much weight to loss anymore, and cannot pose a big threat to them. However Raj is still convinced that Fish is a bigger threat to him than Lori. Leo is the only one who cannot make up his mind on who to vote for. Raj takes him aside to try to convince him that saving Fish will make it harder for them to both stay above the yellow line next week. Leo still has not made up his mind, You know the truth of the matter is, I dont want to vote for Fish. Oh sheer effort alone, I think Fish deserves to stay here more than Lori. Fish decides to make one last ditch effort to save herself, and goes to talk to Raj and Leo. She tries to make them change their mind. Raj flat out tells her that by keeping Lori around, it will be easier for him to stay above the yellow line. But Leo has still not make up his mind. ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST Lori and Fish are the last 2 remaining women left in the competition and one of them will be going home tonight. Genghis is the first person to reveal his vote. Due to their turbulent relationship, it is no surprise to anyone that he has written Loris name down. Raj is next and he votes for Fish, because he considers her to be a big threat. Nai then casts his vote for Lori. There are 2 votes for Lori and 1 vote for Fish. Leo is the last person to cast his vote. Marion informs him, that if he votes for Lori, then she will be going home. But if he decides to vote for Fish, then there will a tie. This means that the person with the lowest percentage weight-loss at this weeks weigh-in eliminated, and that is Fish. As Leo prepares to reveal his vote, he says Both ladies sitting below the yellow line are capable of doing things that I even in all these weeks still cant seem to do. Theres no lack of effort from either of them. Over and over again its just a game, so with that being said, my vote is for Solid Gold Fish. The tie vote means that, the journey for Fish has come to an end. Fish lost 28kg during her 10 weeks at the Biggest Loser Resort. She leaves the competition weighing 68kg. I came into the competition just trying to lose as much weight as I can. And now the boys consider me a threat. I should really take that as a compliment, comments Fish as she prepares for her journey outside in the real world. Only 5 contestants remain in the competition. Who will make it to the end? Who will be Asias next Biggest Loser?
